Come On Down

Today we went to my favourite show "The Price is Right". I'll have to freeze frame some shots of us and add them when it airs (April 8th). We left at 6 a.m. and caught a tour bus to take us all the way in. Good thing we did, we got right in. Others have been waiting since 1:30 a.m. in line to get in, but with the tour we are guaranteed, plus don't have the hastle of driving both ways in rush hour and trying to find parking. A lady from our group sitting 2 away from me got picked and made it onto stage. In the intermission Drew Carey walked on over and talked to Carol by name about the Canucks, as she was wearing a Canucks jersey. He said he was up in Vancouver on the weekend. He was also in Seattle as he is the owner of the Seattle Sounders Football (soccer) team.

Mama Mia

The Broadway musical Mama Mia came to Palm Springs this week end and we went to Saturday's show.

We got front row seats in the front balcony (see arrow). Best seats in the house. We got a room to ourselves.

Ever since the Muppets I've always wanted to sit there. These were my favourite characters.

Birthday with Marilyn

Yesterday we celebrated my birthday. Elvis and Marilyn showed up to wish me well. Now we know where they live.
